UTMB World Series Welcome to the 2026 Desert RATS Trail Festival by UTMB! Desert RATS Trail Festival by UTMB is looking for a few AMAZING volunteers for a fun 3 days of trail running. The event takes place on 4/10, 4/11 and 4/12 in Fruita, CO. The events all start at Hawkeye Trail Head off I-70 in Mack, CO. Expect some exciting new additions to this year's race for both runners and volunteers. Desert RATS Trail Festival by UTMB cannot happen without our dedicated and passionate volunteers. We are eternally grateful for YOU; our Desert RATS Family!
All volunteers will receive a Desert RATS Trail Festival by UTMB shirt when they check in for their position. Volunteers will also receive a free meal at one of our Finish Lines.
