About the race


Welcome to the 2024 Grindstone Trail Running Festival by UTMB! We couldn't be more excited to joining the UTMB Family and the UTMB World Series in 2024. Expect some exciting new additions to this year's race for both runners and volunteers. Grindstone Trail Running Festival by UTMB cannot happen without our dedicated and passionate volunteers. Family!

All volunteers will receive a custom shirt, meal(s), and access to priority registration for next year's event.
 We are looking for several specialized volunteers for Aid Station Captains, Sweeps and SAG Drivers. These positions require some previous experience or specialized skills. Please reach out to us directly to Amanda Medlin at amandamedlin124@gmail.com with your interest. These roles will have access to additional benefits such as sponsor swag, complimentary race entry, and/or local lodging (limited quantity available).

*Note: Shift time are approximate and may change (+/- 30 minutes). We will send exact arrival times for each shift as we approach event date. 

As we continue to work with our permitting partners and finalize race logistics, we will update any necessary time slots accordingly. Those that have already registered to volunteer will be notified of any changes affecting their position.
